Ingredients:
⁃ Jakeman’s maple syrup
⁃ ZOE Salt and pepper
⁃ garlic, minced
⁃ soy sauce
⁃ salmon fillets
⁃ Crown Royal whisky plank
⁃ Dijon mustard

Instructions:
1. With this specific plank there is no need to soak in water.
2. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
3. Prepare the Glaze: In a bowl, whisk together maple syrup, Dijon mustard, soy sauce, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper. This will be the flavorful glaze for the salmon.
4. Season the Salmon: Brush both sides of each fillet with the glaze, allowing them to marinate for a few minutes.
5. Place Salmon on the Plank: Take the whisky plank and place the marinated salmon fillets on top, skin side down.
6. Grill on the Plank: Carefully place the plank with salmon directly on the preheated grill. Close the lid and grill for approximately 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and easily flakes with a fork.
7. Baste with Glaze: While grilling, brush the salmon with the remaining glaze a couple of times to enhance the flavor and keep it moist.
8. Transfer the salmon fillets from the plank to a serving platter. Serve hot with lemon wedges on the side for an extra burst of citrus flavor.
