Grilled Chocolate Chip Cookies

Today we’re making chocolate chip cookies on the grill using a Napoleon cast iron griddle pan



Ingredients:
- 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips

Instructions:

1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (around 375°F to 400°F).
2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter, sugar, vanilla extract and eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing just until combined. Stir in the chocolate chips.
5. Lightly grease the griddle pan with a small amount of oil
6. Drop balls of cookie dough onto the griddle, leaving enough space between each one as they will spread a bit.
7. Place the Griddle on the grill, close the lid and cook for about 20-25 minutes, or until the edges of the cookies start to set and turn golden brown.
8. Remove the cookies from the griddle. Enjoy your delicious grilled chocolate chip cookies!
